Lately, a lot of sellers have been asking us, "How does the market look for selling homes in 2015?" Today, we are going to answer that question, while also providing you with an update on some of the latest real estate trends in our area.

In 2014, we saw a stability of prices across the board. The amount of units sold last year was down a little bit, but trending into 2015 we saw a lot of homes under contract, and should see a lot of closings here soon.

The market has been extremely busy as of late, due to stabilized prices and continually low interest rates. This makes right now a great time for buyers and sellers alike to enter the market. If you were holding out for home prices to skyrocket, it's not going to happen. You need to get your home sold now because these conditions won't last long.

He is always looking for new adventures and challenges to overcome. As a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph, he learned the keys to success early on. He moved on to acquire his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from McDaniel College (then Western Maryland College) in 1998.

Criste - "[My experience with Jay Day and the Day Home Team] was fabulous. It was the first time we had worked with Jay and his team and we weren't quite sure what to expect. We were selling a home we were very attached to and were very emotional, and they made it a very positive experience for us. Every time we had a question - whether it was about the price, the stager, or the brochure he made - he had an answer, followed through, and, usually within an hour, would get back to us with an answer. It wasn't like you were waiting and waiting and waiting, which was huge for my husband and me. Other than just offering to have someone come over to look at the house to see if you need staging or other improvements, the big one was, at the end of the closing, there was some controversy over some equipment being damaged by the people who inspected the house for the new owner and, quite frankly, we were ready to pull out of the process, but Christina and Jay talked about and had it fixed. They took it out of their own commission because they wanted the deal to go through. It helped us greatly!”
